ममाप्येते महाराज भवद्धिर्य उदाहता: । नेतारस्तव सेनाया मता विक्रान्तयोधिन:
mamāpy ete mahārāja bhavadbhir ye udāhṛtāḥ | netāras tava senāyā matā vikrāntayodhinaḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana said: “O King, those very heroes whom you have named are, in my judgment as well, fit to lead your army; for they are all warriors of proven valor.”
वैशम्पायन उवाच
Competent leadership in war should be grounded in proven capability and valor; the verse affirms that those already recognized for prowess are suitable to command, emphasizing discernment and responsibility in appointing leaders.
