भीष्मद्रोणयोर्दुर्योधनं प्रति शमोपदेशः | Bhīṣma and Droṇa’s Counsel of Conciliation to Duryodhana
यदर्थ क्षत्रिया सूते तस्य कालोडयमागत: । न हि वैरं समासाद्य सीदन्ति पुरुषर्षभा:
yadartha kṣatriyā sūte tasya kālo ’yam āgataḥ | na hi vairaṃ samāsādya sīdanti puruṣarṣabhāḥ ||
“The time has now come for that very purpose for which a kṣatriya woman bears a son. For the best of men do not lose heart once they have entered into enmity; having accepted a righteous feud, they do not sink into discouragement.”
