Udyoga Parva Adhyāya 132 — Vidura’s Counsel on Udyama, Yaśas, and Kṣātra-Dharma

अलब्ध्वा यदि वा लब्ध्वा नानुशोचति पण्डित: । आनन्तर्य चारभते न प्राणानां धनायते

The wise do not grieve, whether they fail to gain or have already gained. They strive without pause, even unto their last breath, and do not desire wealth for themselves.
