This is the gateway to the three worlds—indeed, to heaven and to happiness as well. This is the eastern quarter of the directions. If you wish, O Gālava, let us enter here.
युपर्ण उवाच
The verse frames the ‘right direction’ and ‘right entry’ as a threshold to higher states—heaven and happiness—suggesting that progress (spiritual or ethical) depends on choosing the proper path and stepping forward with resolve under guidance.
Yūparṇa addresses Gālava, pointing out a specific ‘eastern’ region described as a gateway to the three worlds and to heaven, and invites him to enter together, indicating a transition to a new stage of their journey.
