वैशम्पायन उवाच
True character (svabhāva) grounded in dharma is not easily diverted by clever reasoning or external pressure; steadfastness in one’s ethical nature is presented as a virtue.
The speaker states that he has tested the king for a third time and concludes that the addressed Pārtha remains unwavering—no rationale or pretext can make him deviate from his innate disposition.
