निवेदयामास च तद् धर्मराजचिकीर्षितम् | यथोक्तं धर्मपुत्रेण सर्वमेव जनाधिप,नरेश्वर! दूतने वहाँ धर्मपुत्र युधिष्ठिरकी कही हुई सारी बातें कह सुनायीं और यह भी निवेदन कर दिया कि वे क्या करना चाहते हैं
nivedayāmāsa ca tad dharmarāja-cikīrṣitam | yathoktaṁ dharmaputreṇa sarvam eva janādhipa naraśvara |
Vaiśampāyana said: The messenger reported in full to the king of men exactly what Dharmaputra Yudhiṣṭhira had said, and also conveyed Yudhiṣṭhira’s intended course of action—what the righteous king wished to do—thus placing his resolve before the ruler in accordance with dharma.
