धृतराष्ट्रस्य उपालम्भः तथा पाण्डव-समाश्वासनम् | Dhṛtarāṣṭra Reproved and the Pāṇḍavas Consoled

Vaiśampāyana said: As he went on, he was followed closely by the heroic, great-souled Kṛṣṇa of the Dāśārha line; and likewise by Yuyudhāna (Sātyaki) and by Yuyutsu as well. In the wake of slaughter, the presence of these righteous allies affirms a moral duty: to accompany, to protect, and to bear witness—standing with those who must face grief and the consequences of war.

Educational Q&A

Even amid the devastation of war, dharma expresses itself through steadfast companionship—standing by the afflicted and the responsible, offering protection, counsel, and moral support rather than abandoning them to grief or danger.

A principal figure is moving ahead, and Kṛṣṇa—along with Sātyaki (Yuyudhāna) and Yuyutsu—follows behind, indicating an escort or supportive accompaniment during the sorrowful post-battle events of the Strī Parva.
