मरणान्तमिदं सर्व नेह किज्चिदनामयम्‌ | तस्माद्‌ धर्मे स्थितो राजा प्रजा धर्मेण पालयेत्‌

Translation

All things in this world end in death; here nothing is wholly free from affliction or imperishable. Therefore, a king should stand firm in dharma and protect his subjects in accordance with dharma.
