एवमेतैर्गुणैर्युक्तो यो5नुरज्यति भूमिपम् । भर्तुरर्थेष्वप्रमत्तं नियुज्यादर्थकर्मणि
Translation
Vāmadeva said: Thus, one who is endowed with these qualities, who can keep the king well-pleased, and who is ever vigilant in advancing his lord’s interests—him the king should appoint to the work of wealth and the management of the treasury.
