यः स्वल्पेनापि कार्येण सुहृदाक्षारितो भवेत् । पुनरन्यैर्गुणैर्युक्तो न मन्त्र श्रेतुमहीति
Translation
One who has been punished by his allies and brought to poverty even for a small improper act, though he may be friendly and endowed with other virtues, is still not fit to hear secret counsel.
