अनु त्वां तात जीवन्तु सुहदद: साधुभि: सह । पर्जन्यमिव भूतानि स्वादुद्रुममिव द्विजा:
Translation
Bhishma said: “Dear child, just as all creatures sustain their lives by relying on the rain, and birds by relying on a tree laden with the sweetest fruit, so too should all your well-wishers, together with the virtuous, live by taking refuge in you and maintaining their livelihood.”
