Bhīṣma on the Śara-Śayyā: Yudhiṣṭhira and Kṛṣṇa Approach the Eldest for Śānti

शराभिघातदु:खात्‌ ते कच्चिद्‌ गात्रं न दूयते । मानसादपि दु:खाद्धि शारीरं बलवत्तरम्‌

“From the pain of the arrows’ blows, does your body not ache severely? For, though there is suffering of the mind, bodily suffering is the more powerful—and harder to endure.”
