Yudhiṣṭhira’s Post-Accession Settlements and Approach to Vāsudeva (युधिष्ठिरस्य राज्यस्थापनं वासुदेवाभिगमनं च)
उवाच मधुरं राजा स्मितपूर्वमिदं तदा । भगवान्की उस दिव्य झाँकीकी तीनों लोकोंमें कहीं उपमा नहीं थी। राजा युधिष्ठछिर मानवविग्रहधारी उन परमात्मा विष्णुके समीप जाकर मुसकराते हुए मधुर वाणीमें इस प्रकार बोले--
vaiśampāyana uvāca | uvāca madhuraṃ rājā smitapūrvam idaṃ tadā |
Vaiśampāyana said: Then the king, smiling first, spoke these sweet words. (In the surrounding narrative, Yudhiṣṭhira approaches the Supreme Lord Viṣṇu—appearing in human form—after beholding a divine vision unrivaled in the three worlds, and begins to address Him with reverent, gentle speech.)
