धृतराष्ट्र-सेवा, राज्य-कार्य-विभागः

Service to Dhṛtarāṣṭra and Allocation of State Duties

कृताकृतपरिज्ञाने तथा55यव्ययचिन्तने । संजयं योजयामास वृद्ध सर्वगुणैर्युतम्‌

kṛtākṛta-parijñāne tathā āya-vyaya-cintane | sañjayaṃ yojayāmāsa vṛddhaṃ sarva-guṇair yutam ||

Vaiśampāyana said: For the scrutiny of what had been accomplished and what had not, and for deliberation over income and expenditure, he appointed the aged Sañjaya—endowed with every virtue—to that responsibility.
