दानपात्रापात्र-निर्णयः / Determining Worthy Gifts, Recipients, and Permissible Food
प्रविविक्षु: स धर्मज्ञ: कुन्तीपुत्रो युधिष्ठिर: । अर्चयामास देवांश्ष ब्राह्मणांक्ष सहस्रश:
pravivikṣuḥ sa dharmajñaḥ kuntīputro yudhiṣṭhiraḥ | arcayāmāsa devāṁś ca brāhmaṇāṁś ca sahasraśaḥ ||
As he was about to enter the city, Yudhiṣṭhira—the dharma-knowing son of Kuntī—performed worship, honouring the gods and paying reverence to thousands of brāhmaṇas. The scene presents his entry not as personal triumph, but as a consecrated act rooted in piety, gratitude, and social-religious duty.
