गोमत्यास्त्वेष पुलिने त्वददर्शनसमुत्सुक: । आसीनो वर्तयन ब्रह्म ब्राह्मण: संशितव्रत:
gomatyāstv eṣa puline tvad-adarśana-samutsukaḥ | āsīno vartayan brahma brāhmaṇaḥ saṃśita-vrataḥ ||
Bhishma said: “On the sandy bank of the river Gomatī sits a Brahmin of firm and disciplined vows. Reciting sacred Vedic knowledge, he remains there, eager for the sight of you.”
भीष्म उवाच
