Prāyaścitta-vidhāna: Tapas, Dāna, Vrata, and Proportional Expiation (प्रायश्चित्तविधानम्)
वामहस्ताद्तं चान्न॑ भक्तं पर्युषितं च यत्
vāma-hastād taṃ cānnaṃ bhaktaṃ paryuṣitaṃ ca yat
Vyāsa said: “And that food which was served from the left hand—food that had already been portioned out and had become stale, kept overnight.”
