Atithi-satkāra and the Consolation of Wise Counsel (अतिथिसत्कारः प्रज्ञानवचनस्य च पराश्वासनम्)
यस्त्वां वेत्ति स मां वेत्ति यस्त्वामनु स मामनु । नावयोरन्तरं किंचिन्मा ते5भूद् बुद्धिरन्यथा
yastvāṁ vetti sa māṁ vetti yastvām anu sa mām anu | nāvayor antaraṁ kiñcin mā te 'bhūd buddhir anyathā ||
“Whoever truly knows you knows me as well; whoever follows you follows me too. Between us there is no difference whatsoever—let no contrary notion arise in your mind.”
