नारद: सुमहद्धूतं सर्वलोकानचीचरत् । त॑ देशमगमद् राजन् बदर्याश्रममाशुग:
nāradaḥ sumahaddhūtaṃ sarvalokān acīcarat | taṃ deśam agamad rājan badaryāśramam āśugaḥ ||
Bhīṣma said: Nārada, a most eminent messenger, moved through all the worlds. Then, O King, he swiftly went to that place—the hermitage of Badarī—showing the urgency and authority with which divine counsel is sought and delivered.
भीष्म उवाच
The verse highlights the authority and urgency of dharmic instruction: a sage-messenger like Nārada traverses all realms and hastens to a sacred hermitage, implying that true guidance is sought from sanctified sources and delivered with purposeful speed.
Bhīṣma narrates that Nārada, acting as a great envoy, travels through the worlds and then quickly proceeds to Badaryāśrama, setting the scene for receiving or conveying important spiritual counsel connected with that holy place.
