भो भो ब्रह्मर्षिवासिष्ठ ब्रह्मघोषो न वर्तते | एको ध्यानपरस्तूष्णीं किमास्से चिन्तयजन्निव
Translation
Nārada said: “O revered Brahmarishi! Why does the sound of Vedic recitation (brahmaghoṣa) not resound in this hermitage? Why do you sit alone, silent and absorbed in meditation—as though weighed by some inward concern?”
