साहं मानप्रदानेन वागातिथ्येन चार्चिता । सुप्ता सुशरणं प्रीता श्वो गमिष्यामि मैथिल

Transliteration

sāhaṃ mānapradānena vāgātithyena cārcitā | suptā suśaraṇaṃ prītā śvo gamiṣyāmi maithila ||

Translation

Bhishma said: “Honoured by your gift of respect and welcomed through the hospitality of your gracious words, I am satisfied. Having rested securely in your fine shelter, O king of Mithila, I shall depart from here tomorrow.”
