बृहच्चैवमिदं शास्त्रमित्याहुर्विदुषो जना: | अम्मिंश्व शास्त्रे योगानां पुनर्वेदे पुर:सर:
Translation
Vasiṣṭha said: “The learned declare that this Sāṅkhya-śāstra is vast and great. And in this śāstra, in the śāstra of Yoga, and in the Veda as well—held to be of the highest authority—one should press forward to study them.”
