ṛṣiḥ paramadharmātmā nārado bhagavān prabhuḥ | tavaivābhedya-hṛdayo mā te 'bhūd atra saṁśayaḥ ||
Śrī Kṛṣṇa said: “The sage Nārada—supremely righteous, venerable, and powerful—is indeed your husband, steadfast and unassailable in heart. Let there be no doubt in you on this matter.”
The verse emphasizes removing doubt by appealing to the moral and spiritual authority of a great ṛṣi: Nārada is described as supremely dharmic and firm in resolve, so the listener should accept the truth of the matter without suspicion.
Śrī Kṛṣṇa addresses someone who is uncertain about a personal relationship (the identity of a husband) and clarifies that the husband is the sage Nārada, urging the listener to abandon doubt.
