As the moon, emerging from behind dense clouds, shines forth with its own radiance, so too a steadfast person—freed from sins and possessing a stainless inner clarity—waits with patience for the proper time and thereby attains fulfillment.
हंस उवाच
Purify oneself from wrongdoing and maintain steady patience; like the moon revealed when clouds disperse, inner radiance and success manifest naturally when impurity is removed and one waits for the right time without losing composure.
Haṃsa teaches through a vivid comparison: the moon’s brightness becomes evident once clouds no longer cover it; similarly, a calm, disciplined person who has shed sin and become inwardly pure endures time with fortitude and reaches accomplishment.
