वणिग यथा समुद्राद् वै यथार्थ लभते धनम् । तथा मर्त्यार्णवे जन्तो: कर्मविज्ञानतों गति:
Translation
As a merchant who ventures by the sea-route gains wealth in proportion to his capital, so in the ocean of mortal existence a being attains its course according to its karma and its knowledge.
