इत्येष वृत्रमाश्रित्य ज्वरस्य महतो मया । विस्तर: कथित: पुत्र किमन्यत् प्रब्रवीमि ते
ity eṣa vṛtram āśritya jvarasya mahato mayā | vistaraḥ kathitaḥ putra kim anyat prabravīmi te ||
Bhīṣma said: “Thus, taking the episode of Vṛtra as the occasion, I have narrated to you in detail, my son, the account of the great fever related to Maheśvara—its origin and course. What more is there for me to say to you now?”
