अध्यात्म-तत्त्व-निर्णयः

Adhyātma Taxonomy: Elements, Faculties, and Guṇas

इन्द्रियाणां तथैवैषां सर्वेषामी श्वर॑ मन: । नियमे च विसर्गे च भूतात्मा मानसस्तथा

Just as the mind is the sovereign of all the senses, able both to set them in motion toward their objects and to restrain them, so too the indwelling self in the heart is the master of the mind, capable of both curbing it and granting it release.
