तेजसा यशसा बुद्धया ज्ञानेन विनयेन च । जन्मना तपसा वृद्धस्तस्मात् सर्वत्र पूजित:,नारदजी तेज, बुद्धि, यश, ज्ञान, विनय, जन्म और तपस्याद्वारा भी सबसे बढ़े-चढ़े हैं; इसीलिये उनकी सर्वत्र पूजा होती है
tejasā yaśasā buddhyā jñānena vinayena ca | janmanā tapasā vṛddhas tasmāt sarvatra pūjitaḥ ||
Vāyu said: “By brilliance, by fame, by intellect, by knowledge, and by humility—and also by birth and by ascetic discipline—Nārada is pre-eminent. Therefore he is honored everywhere.”
वायुदेव उवाच
True honor arises from a constellation of virtues—spiritual brilliance, good reputation grounded in merit, discerning intellect, genuine knowledge, humility, and disciplined austerity. Such integrated excellence naturally commands respect everywhere.
Vāyudeva is describing why the sage Nārada is universally revered, listing the qualities and attainments that make him pre-eminent among respected figures.
