प्रलय-प्रक्रिया (Pralaya Process) — Guṇa-Withdrawal and Pratisaṃcara

Śakra said: “For him (the Sun), a fixed ordinance was established long ago by the Self-born Creator. Therefore, in accordance with that very law of truth, this Sun continually circles on his course, giving heat to all beings.”
शक्र उवाच
The verse teaches that the cosmos functions through a divinely established ordinance: even the Sun moves and gives heat according to a rule grounded in satya (truth). Ethical order (dharma) is mirrored in natural order—steadfast adherence to truth sustains the world.
Indra explains that the Sun’s continuous revolution and his life-sustaining heat are not arbitrary; they proceed because the Self-born Creator (Brahmā) fixed a prior ‘limit/ordinance’ (samaya, maryādā). The statement situates cosmic regularity as obedience to an original divine command aligned with truth.
