Adhyāya 199: Karma–Jñāna Causality and the Nirguṇa Brahman

Manu’s Instruction

संश्रुतं च मया पूर्व ददानीत्यविचारितम्‌ । तद्‌ गृह्नीष्वाविचारेण यदि सत्ये स्थितो भवान्‌

Translation

I had already promised before, without deliberation, “I will give.” Therefore, take without hesitation what I have granted. If you stand firm in truth, you should surely do so.
