Dama-pradhāna-dharma (Self-restraint as the Root of Dharma) — Śānti-parva 154
जम्बुक उवाच स्थीयतां नेह भेतव्यं यावत् तपति भास्कर: । तावदस्मिन् सुते स्नेहादनिर्वेदिन वर्तत
jambuka uvāca sthīyatāṁ neha bhetavyaṁ yāvat tapati bhāskaraḥ | tāvad asmin sute snehād anirvedin vartata ||
Jambuka said: “Stay here; there is nothing to fear so long as the Sun still burns in the sky. Until then, out of affection for this son, remain without despair and do not give way to dejection.”
