अध्याय १५२: लोभः पापस्य मूलम् — Greed as the Root of Wrongdoing

प्राप्प घोरं भयं नूनं मया वैवस्वतादपि
Translation
“Surely now a dreadful fear will come upon me, even more terrible than the fear of Yama; this thought pierces my heart like a thorn. Without drawing it out from within, how can I go on living? Therefore, O Shaunaka, cast aside all anger and tell me some means of deliverance.”
