कपोत-लुब्धकसंवादः — Hunter’s Remorse and Renunciatory Resolve

अभिशथ्याज्ञानिन: केचिन्मिथ्याविज्ञानिन: परे | तद्बै यथायथं बुद्ध्वा ज्ञाममाददते सताम्‌

abhiśathyājñāninaḥ kecin mithyāvijñāninaḥ pare | tad vai yathāyathaṃ buddhvā jñānam ādadate satām ||

Bhishma said: Some people are truly wise, while others only possess a false semblance of knowledge. Understanding this distinction correctly and in due measure, a king should accept and follow only the knowledge of the good—those endowed with genuine insight into truth.
