Having revealed to them his own wondrous, divine form, the sage—purified of sin and free from anger—then departed and moved into the nearby forest.
कृश उवाच
Spiritual power is validated by inner purification and the absence of anger; after accomplishing what is necessary (here, revealing a divine form), the sage returns to a life of restraint rather than remaining in worldly contention.
The speaker describes a sage who first grants an extraordinary vision of his divine form to others present, and then—being sinless and free from wrath—withdraws into a nearby forest, signaling closure of the encounter and a return to ascetic seclusion.
