पुत्रमस्यानयत् क्षिप्रं तपसा च श्रुतेन च । तब धर्मात्माओंमें श्रेष्ठ भगवान् तनुने हँ[कर अपनी तपस्या और शास्त्रज्ञानके प्रभावसे राजकुमारको शीघ्र वहाँ बुला दिया
putram asyānayat kṣipraṃ tapasā ca śrutena ca |
Kṛśa said: “By the power of his austerities (tapas) and his mastery of sacred learning (śruta), he swiftly caused that man’s son to be brought there.”
कृश उवाच
The verse presents tapas (disciplined austerity) and śruta (scriptural learning) as complementary sources of spiritual efficacy. Ethical authority is implied to arise from inner restraint and right knowledge, enabling swift, purposeful action aligned with dharma.
