राजोवाच अर्थेषु भागी पुरुष ईहमान: पुन: पुनः । अलब्ध्वा मद्विधो राज्यं ब्रह्मन् कि कर्तुमहति
Translation
The king asked: “O brāhmaṇa, it is said that a man, striving again and again, comes to claim his share in wealth and success. But if one like me, despite repeated effort, fails to obtain the kingdom, what then should he do?”
