ये तु विंशतिवर्षा वै त्रिंशद्वर्षाश्ष मानवा: | अवगिव हि ते सर्वे मरिष्यन्ति शरच्छतात्,इस समय जो बीस या तीस वर्षकी अवस्थावाले मनुष्य हैं, ये सभी सौ वर्षके पहले ही मर जायूँगे
ye tu viṁśativarṣā vai triṁśadvarṣāś ca mānavāḥ | avagacchanti hi te sarve mariṣyanti śaracchatāt ||
Bhishma said: “As for those men who are now twenty or thirty years of age—know this: all of them will die before completing a hundred years.”
