ब॒हस्पतिरु्वाच न जातु कलहेनेच्छेन्नियन्तुमपकारिण: । बालैरासेवितं होतद् यदमर्षो यदक्षमा
Translation
Bṛhaspati said: “O King, a ruler should never wish to restrain wrongdoers through quarrel or war. Intolerance—or the casting aside of forgiveness—is a path followed by children and fools.”
