भीष्म उवाच यथा55चरितमेवात्र शस्त्र पत्रं विधीयते । आचारादू वीरपुरुषस्तथा कर्मसु वर्तते
Translation
Bhīṣma said: “O king, weapons and war-mounts (or conveyances) should be arranged in accordance with the customs of each warrior’s land and lineage. A heroic man undertakes all deeds in keeping with his inherited tradition.”
