धनुषां कूजमानानां शस्त्रौघानां च दीप्यताम् । कवचानां प्रभाभिक्षु न प्राज्ञायत किउचन,टंकारते हुए धनुष, दमकते हुए अस्त्र-शस्त्रोंके समुदाय तथा कवचोंकी प्रभासे चकाचौंधके कारण कुछ भी सूझ नहीं पड़ता था
dhanuṣāṃ kūjamānānāṃ śastraughānāṃ ca dīpyatām | kavacānāṃ prabhābhikṣu na prājñāyata kiṃcana ||
Sañjaya said: “With bows twanging, with masses of weapons blazing, and with the glare of armor dazzling the eyes, nothing at all could be clearly made out.”
