गौर्गौरिति पुरा मन्द द्रौपदीमेकवाससम्‌ | यत्‌ सभायां हसन्नस्मांस्तदा वदसि दुर्मते

Transliteration

gaur gaur iti purā manda draupadīm ekavāsasam | yat sabhāyāṁ hasann asmāṁs tadā vadasi durmate ||

Translation

Sañjaya said: “O fool—earlier, in the royal assembly, you laughed at us and taunted Draupadī when she stood there in a single garment, crying ‘cow, cow!’; it is that very cruelty and perverse mind of yours that now speaks.”
