Educational Q&A

The line underscores how events in war unfold through momentum and circumstance: once a course of action is set in motion, allied groups respond in concert. Ethically, it hints at collective responsibility—armies and allies share the consequences of the situation as it develops.

Sañjaya continues reporting to Dhṛtarāṣṭra. He marks a transition: as the described situation proceeds, the Somakas and the Pāṇḍavas act/advance accordingly, indicating coordinated movement or continued engagement in the ongoing battle context.
