एवंप्रभावो भगवांस्ततो भूयश्न पावकि: । शौर्यादिगुणयोगेन तेजसा यशसा श्रिया
evaṃprabhāvo bhagavāṃs tato bhūyaś ca pāvakiḥ | śauryādiguṇayogena tejasā yaśasā śriyā
Vaiśaṃpāyana said: Thus endowed with such extraordinary power, that revered one—Pāvaki (Agni)—again shone forth, united with valor and other virtues, and resplendent with radiance, fame, and prosperity.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse links inner virtues—especially valor and allied qualities—to their outward fruits: radiance (tejas), reputation (yaśas), and prosperity (śrī). Ethical excellence is portrayed as a force that naturally generates both moral and social flourishing.
Vaiśaṃpāyana describes Pāvaki (Agni) as again becoming manifestly splendid, characterized by heroic virtues and the visible signs of power—brilliance, fame, and auspicious fortune—within the ongoing war-time narration of Śalya Parva.
