पुन: प्रहरणान्येषां कीर्त्यमानानि मे शृणु । शेषै: कृत: पारिषदैरायुधानां परिग्रह:,अब शेष पार्षदोंने जिन आयुधोंको ग्रहण किया था, उनके नाम बता रहा हूँ, सुनो
punaḥ praharaṇāny eṣāṃ kīrtyamānāni me śṛṇu | śeṣaiḥ kṛtaḥ pāriṣadair āyudhānāṃ parigrahaḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana said: “Hear from me again the weapons of these men as they are being named. I shall now recount which arms were taken up by the remaining attendants in the assembly.”
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse underscores the epic’s concern with precise remembrance and accountability in war: who took up which weapons is carefully recorded, reflecting the ethical weight of martial action and its consequences.
Vaiśampāyana continues a descriptive enumeration, announcing that he will again list the weapons and specify which arms were taken up by the remaining members/attendants present.
