Educational Q&A

True honor (pūjā) is expressed through concrete care—providing comfort and dignified support to respected guests, especially learned brāhmaṇas. The verse frames hospitality and generosity as a practical dimension of dharma.

The narrator describes arrangements made at a location where brāhmaṇas are to be received: expensive clothes, beds, and bedding are kept ready so that the invited or present brāhmaṇas may be comfortably accommodated and properly honored.
