द्वैपायनह्रदे दुर्योधनान्वेषणम् / The Search for Duryodhana at Dvaipāyana Lake
परिष्वज्य महाबाहुर्वैश्यापुत्रं व्यसर्जयत् । ऐसा सोचकर महाबाहु युयुत्सुने उन दोनोंके सामने अपना विचार प्रकट किया। उसकी बात सुनकर निरन्तर करुणाका अनुभव करनेवाले महाबाहु राजा युधिष्छिर बहुत प्रसन्न हुए और उन्होंने वैश्यकुमारीके पुत्र युयुत्सुको छातीसे लगाकर बिदा कर दिया
pariṣvajya mahābāhur vaiśyāputraṃ vyasarjayat
Sañjaya said: Having embraced the son of the Vaiśyā woman, the mighty-armed king dismissed him. When Yuyutsu openly declared his resolve before them, Yudhiṣṭhira—ever stirred by compassion—was greatly pleased; he drew Yuyutsu to his chest in approval and then sent him forth, affirming the moral worth of sincere allegiance to dharma even amid the confusions of war and birth-status.
संजय उवाच
Moral worth is shown by one’s chosen allegiance to dharma and compassionate conduct, not merely by birth; Yudhiṣṭhira honors sincere ethical resolve with acceptance and goodwill.
Yuyutsu states his intention openly; Yudhiṣṭhira, pleased and compassionate, embraces him as a sign of approval and then dismisses him to proceed, as Sañjaya reports.
