अपन क्ाता छा अर: पञठ्चमो<ध्याय: अश्वत्थामा और कृपाचार्यका संवाद तथा तीनोंका पाण्डवोंके शिविरकी ओर प्रस्थान कृप उवाच शुश्रूषुरपि दुर्मेधा: पुरुषो5नियतेन्द्रिय: । नालं॑ वेदयितुं कृत्स्नौ धर्मार्थाविति मे मति:
kṛpa uvāca |
śuśrūṣur api durmedhāḥ puruṣo 'niyatendriyaḥ |
nālaṃ vedayituṃ kṛtsnau dharmārthāv iti me matiḥ ||
Kripa said: “In my judgment, a man whose understanding is perverted and whose senses are undisciplined cannot fully comprehend Dharma and Artha—even if he professes a desire to listen and learn.”
