अश्वत्थाम-शापः, परिक्षिद्भविष्यत्, मणि-न्यासः
Aśvatthāman’s Curse, Parikṣit’s Future, and the Mani’s Restitution
उक्तवत्यसि तीव्राणि वाक््यानि पुरुषोत्तमम् । क्षत्रधर्मानुरूपाणि तानि संस्मर्तुमहसि
ukta-vaty asi tīvrāṇi vākyāni puruṣottamam | kṣatra-dharmānurūpāṇi tāni saṁsmartum arhasi ||
Vaiśampāyana said: “You once spoke harsh words to Puruṣottama (Śrī Kṛṣṇa). Those words were in keeping with the warrior’s code; you ought to recall them now.”
