Chapter 14: Divyāstra-Prayoga and Ṛṣi Intervention (दिव्यास्त्रप्रयोगः ऋषिसमागमश्च)

प्राणभृद्धिरनाधृष्यौ देवदानवसम्मतौ । अस्त्रतेज: शमयितुं लोकानां हितकाम्यया
Translation
Those two sages were guardians of life and could not be slighted; both devas and dānavas revered them. Wishing the welfare of all the worlds, they had come there to quell the blazing energy of those weapons.
