अध्याय १ — न्यग्रोधवनोपवेशनम् तथा द्रौणिनिश्चयः
Night at the Banyan and Drauṇi’s Resolve
भवतोस्तु यदि प्रज्ञा न मोहादपनीयते । व्यापन्नेडस्मिन् महत्यर्थ यन्नः श्रेयस्तदुच्यताम्
bhavatoḥ tu yadi prajñā na mohād apanīyate | vyāpanne 'smin mahaty arthe yan naḥ śreyas tad ucyatām ||
Sañjaya said: “If your discernment has not been carried away by delusion, then in this great crisis—now that our cause has gone awry—tell us what would be best for us to do, so that our ruined undertaking may be set right.”
